I am so so sorry to "mess up" our schedule!  I had 2 teeth extracted last Wednesday and never DREAMED i would still be dealing with those issues for almost an entire week!  I got an infection, i am quite sure it was the entry point for the novacaine right on the gum where the extractions were..in fact it is still there (an abcess)...ouch..unbelievable pain..i ended up on steroids, antibiotics, pain meds and mouthwash!...anyhoo...i had previously taken the 19th OFF..and NOW we are ON!...so the spoon bunnies will be offered then, with the finger puppets at no charge in addition to the regular craft.    The following week i will have two Easter related crafts for you to choose from for the week up to Easter!  Those samples will be coming soon! ;-)

So....again..new hours...2-6pm..arrive by 5pm

if you bring a NEW visitor..it will now be standard..you and your visitor's craft choices will be $3.50 for the day, however many you want to do

i still need to know you are coming and how many crafts you will do..and when i get choices back up and running..WHAT you want to do!!!!

Spoon Bunnies! Monday, March 12th!!

...and i present...the SPOON BUNNIES!...your addition to your kitchen tool jar...puppet show extravaganza...or how about a cute addition to your pencil holder?...however the kiddos decide to use them (maybe all)..they are CUTE!  They are made with wooden spoons and wooden hearts!  I will also have plenty of materials from last week to try a finger puppet or two!  I thought they were so "hard" and "messy"...and Wyatt Henderson showed me a thing or two...he constructed his in no less than two minutes and it turned out PERFECT!  I guess i found out a couple secrets too...so come and make a Spoon Bunny and some finger puppets!

I have decided to "extend" my "special" of bringing a first time visitor, thus getting your crafts for a price of $3.50 per craft...to FOREVER, instead of ending it this week!  SO>>>>>>>>>....if you bring a first time visitor, from NOW ON....your family's crafts will be $3.50 each, as well as your visitor's family's crafts!  This is a good way to introduce your friends to all the fun we have investing  time creating with your kids, without the stress of shopping for product, setting it up, cleaning it up!!!

I have one picture frame left, for whoever would be interested..maybe if you are...mention it to me in an email...also have one birdhouse left....and lots of pipe cleaners for the finger puppets!!!

I still need to know if you are coming and how many crafts you will be doing...this month i haven't had a lot of choices, sorry about that...life has not cooperated with me, allowing me to get a month's worth done all at once...

Paint Puddles! Monday- March 5th! New Hours!!! March Special!!!!

MARCH SPECIAL!!!

Remember a few posts ago when i told you about our upcoming March special???  Well, here it is...IF you bring a NEW (never attended before) guest...YOU and your GUEST can do however many crafts you want for the price of $3.50 each!  This special is good for March 5th and March 12th!

AND......drum roll....NEW HOURS!!!!....i have had to decrease the offering of hours, due to, in part, to my new baby...PUPPY, that is!!!  Also, the day gets VERY long for me and my (lack of) energy level!  We are going to try out these new hours of 2pm to 6pm...(please arrive no later than 5pm)  So in the future, just let me know what, and how many crafts you plan to do for the day.  You do not need to let me know when you are arriving.

The LAST announcement today is that i have decided to continue into the summer!  I would love some feedback on this...not that i can please everyone...but if you prefer a certain day over another, hours over others, or have any suggestions...PLEASE email me!!!!  I will consider any and all, and do my best to please.  I appreciate all of you who faithfully attend!  You are ALL a blessing to me! 

OK...NOW....the following picture is the original craft planned for this coming Monday....

aren't they cute??...yes..they...are.......BUT...OH MY!....they were "difficult" for me...as i was making the samples..i kept thinking..if i am struggling , how in the world are these little pumpkin puddlers going to do this?...the idea is GREAT...the finished product is cute and fun...but believe it or not...because of the messiness of glue and sticky fingers and they are tiny...it just is all kind of a MESS and frustrating!.........SO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.......i decided to come up with THIS:

yes, i reverted to the "old standard" PICTURE FRAME!!!...but still fun, we will use nice SPRING-Y colors and i have several small wooden pieces for the kiddos to choose from to glue in the corner!!!

I also have about 3 birdhouses left from this past Monday...and will have them available for whoever might want to do them!

NOW...IF you want to attempt a finger puppet or two...you are MORE THAN WELCOME to do that too..i will have all the product for both!!!!!!!

Paint Puddles-Monday, Feb. 27th!

I had two wonderful, most loved little helpers today!  Carter and Ava, two of my grandchildren from Georgia helped me to get the samples done for our upcoming class!  Didn't they do a GREAT job?????  Of course they get to take theirs home...but i did a sample to bring to class!  Guess what?...they were really fun!!!!!  Please email me to let me know what time slot you will be attending...no other decisions...because that is the only choice this week!!!  :)\

Attention all Paint Puddlers!

January 30 Paint Puddles!

We will be "wrapping" it up on our Valentine and winter projects on the 30th!  I will be out of town (yes, visiting my lovies in ATL) for the first 2 weeks in February..therefore NO CLASS Feb. 6th and Feb. 13th.  Isn't it nice, however, to have your Valentine projects/decorations done???  The kids have done such a great job...you know, i take my camera to capture their darling projects...then forget to take pictures!  UGH!  But if you are a regular atender, you KNOW, things get a "little" lot hectic!  (BIG smile inserted here)

OH!  and btw....the paper valentines in the pic above are available for the kiddos to do...for free!!!!  We have coloring pages with Valentine themes for them to do for free also...the little clothespin clippies are in a unit of 3...you paint the clothespin whatever color you choose, and the little square will be painted with black chalkboard paint...i have magnet backs available if you want them! Feel free to come for the FREE STUFF...just come for valentine making...no cost to you!

I want to thank those of you who come week after week, or almost..it is a great encouragement to me  and i hope to you as well! 

When we start up again on Feb.20th...we will be thinking SPRING thoughts...freshness and all that good stuff!  I have a MARCH SPECIAL on the horizon as well!  For the first 2 weeks in March, if you bring a visitor who has not attended previously, you both will get the class for half price (no discounts)....so  each unit project will cost $3.75 for you and your visitor/and kids.

January 23rd Class

Hey, Paint Puddles Friend!  Well, winter has returned to the midwest..and while i have visions of hearts and valentines in my head..now the penguins and snowman spoons are really more in order!  All will be available this week..but as you know.. you really MUST let me know what you intend to do, just to be sure i have all the correct materials!...email:sandi.hixson@gmail.com

We have had a couple new families and that gives me great joy and hopes of continuing growth!  I hope you love it enough so you don't want to miss out!  We really do have fun!  It gets a little hectic, and i thank you for your patience in some cases! :)

Above is pictured the "new and improved" pot of hearts, plus the little cupcake girl..her dress is cupcake liners..i was must "messing" around and came up with her...IF you are interested in her, please, please let me know...because i do not have all materials currently on hand.

This week we will have materials for the kiddos to make as many valentines as they want(for free)...but also adding our little blackboard clippies as a unit of 3.  I will have magnetic strip available for fridge magnets...but, as always..please let me know of your intentions!!!!

We will , of course, meet this Monday and on Jan. 30th, then there will be no class until   Feb. 20th.  I will be visiting my kids and g-kids in ATL for the first 2 weeks in Feb.!
